Quiet Waters is my heart project, I love it so much and I’m so so passionate about my student first tutoring mentality.  That being said, it would be even better if I had a bigger team and together we could reach more students and families, changing their lives and their feelings about school work.  I’m nervous about hiring more tutors because “regular” tutors are not really what I’m looking for.  I want people who see the whole child, see the interactions between the child and the family, and see the pain points clearly.  I want people who bring peace and hope right into the pain points and transform families.  If this resonates with you, please reach out and let’s talk!

I would love to work with tutors who have a natural connection with students, or who can maintain a calm unflappable presence, or who are open to being mentored in these skills.  I am relationship first, content second, and that’s who I want to hire as well!  I am thrilled to train new tutors in my style and connect them with clients.

How does it work?

I have the biggest need currently in early elementary (reading, handwriting, beginning math operations) and high school language arts (primarily writing).  I also could use someone in science and the highest math for high school (physics, biology, calculus).  I am relationship first, but you need to be familiar with the content, flexible, and able to explain things more than one way.

I will take care of advertising, interviewing clients, and connecting you with families.  I’m there as a resource throughout the tutoring journey, to support you with questions and ideas, and to help with family communication as needed.  I take care of billing and payments, you just need to focus on tutoring!
